Hilti Foundation Redesign

Selected among five competing agencies for the Hilti Foundation‘s branding redesign pitch, I advanced through two rigorous rounds to become the sole designer entrusted with shaping their new visual identity. As Creative Director and Designer, I led the creation of a modern, globally resonant brand for this Liechtenstein-based philanthropic organization, focused on empowering sustainable change worldwide.
The project aimed to craft a unified visual system that exudes quiet authority, aligning with the foundation’s commitment to social impact initiatives across education, housing, economic empowerment, and more. Key elements include a minimalist wordmark that serves as the cornerstone of the identity, a sophisticated color palette of deep teal and warm grey tones for a professional yet approachable feel, and subtle geometric motifs that pay homage to the precision of Hilti’s tool-manufacturing heritage while emphasizing human-centered outcomes.
This cohesive branding framework was designed for seamless scalability across digital platforms, print materials, annual reports, and international campaigns, ensuring consistency in communicating the foundation’s mission of fostering self-determined lives and long-term global progress.
