Trenchant is the official music video for electronic artist Owen Sound’s atmospheric single, visualizing an endless snowstorm through hypnotic digital abstractions and immersive motion graphics. Co-directed with a focus on minimalist aesthetics, the piece features swirling snowflakes, geometric patterns, and haunting horn accents that mirror the track’s introspective mood—evoking themes of isolation and infinite landscapes. Complementing the video are custom title designs and promotional posters that extend the visual identity, blending Swiss precision with experimental artistry. Recognized as Best Digital Art at the Short Film Factory Awards in February 2023, this project showcases a seamless fusion of sound and visuals under the Touch Void Recordings label.
